-BLEND- are a band who produce an energetic type of guitar-rock which is as much subtle as powerful. The songs have a touch of emo and yet are still progressive. Since January 2006, Blend consists of Jeroen Fredrik (vocals & guitar), Chico Abelino (bass) and Bob van Dun (drums). A deliberate choice, in order to keep the sound compact & intense, in a way that only a 3-piece can bring. Due to the energy in their live-performance and their convincing musical strengths, they're not to be missed. To keep it short, -BLEND- is a must! October 2004: Blend in semi-finals of de Grote Prijs van Nederland (GPNL). December 2004: Blend in the finals of the GPNL where Jeroen wins the prize for Best Musician 2004 January 2005 Blend signs single deal at label Its your record! (IYR!). January 2005: Videoshoot for Remote Controlled. September 2005: Release videoclip 'Remote Controlled'. Nov. - Dec. 2005: Song writing and auditions for new bass player. January 2006: Blend introduce their new bassist: Chico Abelino. February 2006: Recordings of the Promo-CD. March 2006: Blend plays live at Met Michiel, 3FM Radio. March 2006: Preproduction and recording Without a Shade (radioversion) for single-deal (label IYR!). April 2006: Promotion of Without a Shade at 3FM and KinkFM by IYR!
